One of the series of 2011 Ford Explorer TV commercials for the New York/Tri-State area, “Dealer” features professional baseball player Derek Jeter, this time posing as a Ford dealer. Filmed and edited with a humorous spin, Jeter walks a family through the Explorer’s new MyFord Touch hands-free, voice-activated technology and the Terrain Management System. Meanwhile the couple’s son, obviously a baseball fan, tries to tell his parents “It’s Derek Jeter!” but they ignore him while listening to the dealer’s sales pitch.

All filming took place on location in Tampa, Florida by Avalon Films. Creative editing, graphics and finish were handled by Dark Spark Media.
